SOLO FINGERSTYLE ACOUSTIC POST-MODERN CLASSICAL COMPOSITIONS OVER THE YEARS... The Year of the Tiger the cassette that started it all in the mid 1980s

I am looking for a string quartet to listen to... create an arrangement for "marina Del Mar" on the year of the tiger album....

If interested or know members of a quartet, who might be interested please share this information. & please contact me for details, & opportunities for recording & production & publishing on line on my music account, with full credits and splits re' fair business etc...

The main thing for me is that this song is beautiful in its simplicity and complexity & about as close to JS BACH as I will ever get, & as we all know... at about or less than 3 1/2 minutes could be the next newest & bestest a RADIO FRIENDLY HIT on classical music FM channels... just sayin'

Epiphanies... in Real Time

Many of these compositions were what I call epiphany pieces... with a riff or cord pattern of few lines in my heart & hands, I would ask Odie at Abcat Studio, to turn the machine on and literally... these were composed, played, and recorded all at the same time in what may be the closest I will ever come to a Keith Jarrett Koln Concert out of body, ethereal experience... This means they exist in this space and time only, I can't really play most of them, as I would have to go back & try to learn them... but I have slowly relearned a few...  Gusmos' Circus, Rock Star, Marina del Mar, & slowly working on others...

I forgot many of the parts over the years of playing shorter versions,  that I have in my head & hands that have changed over the last 1/4 cetury. Most of the interludes on all the albums also fit this descriptive.

SONGS FROM THE HACIDENDA & AMADO HAVE BEEN REMASTERED BUT NOT YET RELEASED ON LINE... as I am waiting to release via another more permanent company.

EXCERPTS OF SOME KIND WORDS SAID,.. REVIEWS OF GUITAR ALBUMs…

Kenn Harris has produced original "post-modern classical" compositions for solo, finger-style, acoustic guitar

that are now collector’s items on media dating back to the 1980s:

cassettes, and compact discs (remember those formats?)

some have been favorably reviewed in print or on line

with note with  some nostalgia, as many of these magazines, papers, websites are also of historical record…

"... a work of art ... impeccable playing ... simply beautiful ... with only scarce accompaniment here and there, you'd think hearing a single guitar would grow tiresome after a while, but this disc is entrancing for its full 74 minutes. A" Thomas Bond, Music Editor, GET OUT ( Scottsdale/East Valley Tribune) entertainment Section March 6-12, 2003… and at the conclusion of 2003, included on GET OUT's top 10 list of Local Albums,

as  the soundtrack of a video montage in memory of those lost on 9/11 )

The Album was dedicated to Amadeo, a guitar maker,  The guitar has woods that are 100-200 years old, and was played for a while by Segovia.

I met the maker in NYC at the end of his life… the tones from this instrument are beyond holy, and is featured within the album
